Creamy Mushroom Sauce
Every cook needs a good easy creamy mushroom sauce recipe. It’s perfect served on grilled steak.

Ingredients
  • 1 tbsp Kefalos butter
  • 2 tbsps Oil
  • 500 g button mushrooms sliced
  • 2 sprigs thyme
  • 2 garlic cloves crushed
  • 1 cup Kefalos fresh cream
  • 1 cups KEFALOS Fresh Milk mixed with 3 tsps cornflour
  • 1-2 tbsps lemon juice to taste
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsps parsley, chopped

  • 1 tbsp Kefalos butter
  • 2 tbsps Oil
  • 500 g button mushrooms sliced
  • 2 sprigs thyme
  • 2 garlic cloves crushed
  • 1 cup Kefalos fresh cream
  • 1 cups KEFALOS Fresh Milk mixed with 3 tsps cornflour
  • 1-2 tbsps lemon juice to taste
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsps parsley, chopped
Instructions
  1. Heat the KEFALOS Butter and oil together.
  2. Add the mushrooms to the pan with the thyme and season with salt and pepper.
  3. Allow the mushrooms to fry until golden brown then add the garlic and fry until fragrant.
  4. Pour in the KEFALOS Fresh Cream and KEFALOS Fresh Milk and allow to simmer gently for 5-10 minutes until the sauce has thickened and cooked through.
  5. Season with lemon, salt and pepper and add the parsley.
